E-Learning

Flagstaff Hill Primary School supports the belief that through digital technologies we equip students to participate in a rapidly changing world where work and leisure activities are increasingly transformed by technology. We enable students to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information. We also focus on developing the skills necessary for students to be able to create and use information in a discriminating, effective and creative manner.

All students in years 3-6 have the opportunity to bring an Apple iPad to school as a learning tool. Participation in this program is voluntary.

All iPads used on school grounds must be enrolled into Meraki Systems Manager (our Mobile Device Management solution). Provided by the Department for Education, Meraki is the supported solution for device management allowing our IT staff to centrally manage, deploy software and apps, deliver content and enforce security policies for all iPads. Students’ iPads are locked into Meraki for ongoing management until no longer enrolled at our school.

We have negotiated bulk education pricing for iPads and optional accessories through JB Hi-Fi Solutions. Click here to view pricing and to order on-line. The School Code is Flagstaff2023.

JB Frequently Asked Questions

If you would prefer to buy an iPad from another supplier or if your child already has an iPad, it can be manually enrolled into Meraki by our IT staff member. Please note, manual enrolment of the device into Meraki does involve wiping all existing content and settings.
