Flagstaff Hill Primary School supports the belief that through digital technologies we equip students to participate in a rapidly changing world where work and leisure activities are increasingly transformed by technology. We enable students to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information. We also focus on developing the skills necessary for students to be able to create and use information in a discriminating, effective and creative manner.

From 2021, we will offer students from Years 4-7 the opportunity to bring an Apple iPad to school as a learning tool. Participation in this program is voluntary.

We strongly encourage the purchase of devices and optional accessories through JB Hi-Fi Solutions as they have provided our school community with bulk education pricing. Click here to view pricing and to order on-line.

Purchasing through the portal means that iPads will be automatically added to the Device Enrolment Program (DEP), which in turn will be automatically enrolled in Meraki Systems Manager (our choice of MDM solution). Automatic enrolment ensures that devices are configured based on the school’s requirements, and guarantees that all students receive those configurations on their iPads. Our students’ iPads are also locked in MDM for ongoing management.

It is suggested that you order as soon as possible because Apple’s stock constraints continue and when stock is received by JB Hi-Fi they will be filled based on order date.

Additionally, all Year 2-7 students and their families will be required to read and sign the updated Student Acceptable Use Agreement in 2021.
