OSHC/Holiday Care

Flagstaff Hill Primary School’s OSHC Service aims to provide a high quality recreational program that meets the individual needs of primary age children.

We recognise the importance of providing a safe, stimulating and creative environment with particular emphasis on play, social interactions and recreation that promotes children making new discoveries, extending their interests and building positive relationships with their peers and educators. All children and their families are respected for their individual needs, beliefs and ideals.

We operate OSHC:

Before School Care - 7:15 am to 8:45 am
After School Care - 3:15 pm to 6:15 pm
Pupil Free Day Care - 7:15 am to 6:15 pm
School Closure Days - 7:15 am to 6:15 pm
Early Finish (end of term) - 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm

We operate Holiday Care services:

Holiday Care - 7:15 am to 6:15 pm

Children may attend on a regular or casual basis.

OSHC Enrolment

Enrolment forms and a Family Information Package which contains information on fees, policies and procedures is available from OSHC, the Front Office or available for download from this website. We ask that you visit one of our sessions with your child to meet the educators, become familiar with the OSHC room and for us to gather all the information we require.

An OSHC registration fee of $15.00 per family annually is debited to your OSHC account at the time of enrolment.

Child Care Subsidy is available to approved families at a variable rate depending on combined family income. For further information on Child Care Subsidy, please contact Services Australia on 13 61 50.

At the end of each school year registered families will be asked to renew their enrolment in order to access care for the following school year. Parents must complete an enrolment form and any relevant medical forms annually, however if family circumstances, contacts, or any other information should change during the year, families must advise the Director immediately.

Holiday Care Enrolment

Holiday Care Program, Booking and Consent Forms are available from OSHC, the Front Office or available for download from this website in week 6 of each school term. These forms must be completed and returned to OSHC prior to the commencement of Holiday Care.

Holiday Care runs for the entire duration of the term 1, 2 and 3 school holiday periods (closed public holidays). During term 4 school holidays, care is provided for 4 of the 6 weeks.

Regulatory and Quality Requirements

Our programs are required to meet Commonwealth and State Governments regulations. These include the National Quality Framework, National Law and the My Time, Our Place Learning Framework for School Age Care in Australia.
